Boy Names

As all of you probably know by now, we are expecting baby #3 and boy #2 on September 1st. I have to admit, as soon as the ultra sound revealed "boy" I was a little disappointed. The last month or so I have really hoped for a sister for Samantha. But, now that I know we are having a boy, I'm super excited! Zach will love having a little terror to join in whatever he feels like doing.

That being said, I have the hardest time coming up with boy names. It just stresses me out! Samantha was named the day we found out she was a girl. Baby #3 has a middle name, but that's it. We have decided that we are going to use the name Ernest for his middle name. It has family connections to both Micheal's and my family. I really want our kids to have middle names that have stories and meanings. I want them to feel connected to their ancestors, just like I feel connected to my Grandma Burt since my middle name is her first name.

Now, we have to choose a first name. If you have any ideas, we welcome them! Luckily, we still have a couple months to come up with a name. Unfortunately, I am the type of person who is going to stress and think about this kid's name until it is decided on. Then I'll second guess myself until he is like a month old.

I LOVE traditional names. I am against the norm or interesting names. Mitch doesn't always like the same names I like. I also like names that can be shortened; hence Nathan! But, I like Joshua. Matthew would go well with Zach. Matt and Zach. Daniel is good. I don't know. Again, I love the traditional names but tradiational that not everyone has at this time. Good luck! Excited to see what you come up with in the end.
