Happy Birthday Samantha!!!

Samantha turned 2 on the 27th! I can't believe how fast she is growing! She is really turning into quite the fun little girl. On her birthday we slept for most of the day since Michael spent all night at work during a lock down. After we all woke up then we went to the circus! It was a lot of fun. Zach and Samantha were a litte scared at first, but after a while they got used to all the noise. Samantha enjoyed it and Zach slept. Last night we had Lawrence's family over for a birthday dinner consisting of crepes, bacon, strawberry milk, and homemade ice cream cake (with Dora, Boots, and Diego on top)!

Big Kids!!!

Both kids had doctor's appointments on Friday and we found out that they are growing as they should!!!
Zach weighed 12 lbs 5 oz. He is in the 80th% for height and head circumference and in the 75th% for weight! He is growing like crazy! I often have people say he has no neck. That's not true, he does have a neck, it's just hidden beneath all his chins.

Samantha was in the 50th% for height and about the 70th% for weight. Her head, on the other hand, was off the charts! Hooray for those Robbins' genes!

Proud or Appalled???

Samantha loves watching t.v. I've had to work hard to not let it be a babysitter at times. I just have to set a limit on the amount of time I let her watch t.v., although I don't always stick with it like I should. Today I was in on the computer while she was watching a show in the living room. All of the sudden I hear a the opening of a movie that I didn't put in for her. That's right, after her show finished Samantha took out the DVD she had finished, put in another one, and started it. My daughter will be two at the end of the month, and she already knows how to work the DVD player. I don't know if I should be proud of her for figuring it out on her own or if I should be appalled at myself for letting her watch enough t.v. that she can figure it out. What a girl!

Christmas in Idaho and Zach's Blessing

This year we went to Idaho for Christmas. We were able to spend a day with three of Michael's siblings. Samantha had a lot of fun with her cousins!!!

Michael went out to play in the snow with Maddie, Robby, and Samantha.

Samantha borrowed Rett's coat and looks a little like a boy.

Samantha LOVES to play with B.T. when we go to Grandma and Grandpa's! I don't have pictures of Christmas day on my computer yet, but I'll post them when I get them!

We had Zach's baby blessing yesterday. We were very lucky to be able to have so much family there!

My mom got Zach a really nice outfit and Michael's mom made Zach a beautiful afghan.
