A Week in Illinois
We got back Saturday night from an 8 day trip to Illinois to visit with family. It was a lot of fun and we took a lot of pictures!!!!

The kids loved being with all their Grandparents!!!!!!
Papa (Michael's dad) took Samantha to New Salem one afternoon. She liked it, except for the statues. They were a little scary!
They even played at the park for a while.
We spent one day just hanging out with Grandma Robbins. She is one of the most amazing people I have ever met. We had fun talking, watching the news and Jeoperdy, and just enjoying each other's company. (Michael also enjoyed the popsicles Grandma got just for him!)
We spent the first half of the week at Michael's dad's and the second half with his mom. We met up with Lynn on her birthday and played around Springfield until after dinner time. Grammie (Lynn) treated Samantha to a couple rides on the carousel. Samantha LOVED the horsies!!!!
Lynn practically lives in Martha's (Michael's oldest sister) back yard. Samantha got to learn a little bit about how boys play! She had fun with Spencer and Trent.
One afternoon we went with Lynn to Arthur, an Amish community. Grammie and Samantha had fun singing together in the car.
The best part of this trip was the fact that we weren't running all the time. We were able to sit and enjoy. I personally got to have some one-on-one time with Martha for the first time. It was so fun to get to know her. I told Michael before we left that when I was little I was so jealous of my friends that had big sisters. I thought they were the luckiest girls! Now that I'm married I have 5 big sisters. Can you believe the luck!?! It's so great!!!!
Zach started sitting up on his own while we were there. He's getting so big!
Our last night there Grammie and Micheal took the kids to the park across the street from Martha's house.
Aunt Martha is now in the running for favorite Aunt!
